Rock Tools Skid Steer Concrete Saw

Denver, Colorado July 1,2013 Rock Tools, LLC recently delivered its model RTS10D skid steer diamond concrete saw to a customer in St. Louis, Missouri the customer’s project requires that 5’ parapet walls be cut over a distance of 11 miles. This project presents a unique set of challenges for the customer given the tight working space. Originally, the customer planned on using a commonly used hand push to complete the work. However, the push saw was frequently breaking down and production painfully slow. Each cut with the push saw took at least 20 minutes and required two men; set up time was not included. Management was faced with buying more hand push saws and employing more people to operate them which would have blown out the budget or find a more productive cost effective cutting solution.

Management contacted Rock Tools and we supplied our model RTS10D skid steer saw which was fitted to a Takeuchi TL250 skid loader; what followed was astonishing, what took 20 minutes a forklift and two men now took 3 minutes with one man.  Time and cost over runs are now a thing of the past. The project is now ahead of schedule and costs have been cut. Superintendent Brian told us “I wish we’d found you earlier, we’d have saved a bunch and moved the job along a lot quicker”.
The Rock Tools Concrete Cutter RTS10D skid steer diamond saw is fitted to the loader using the same standard quick coupler connections which increases efficiency reduces costs.
